[11:42:06] <housemate_> Hi could I please have the proper way to import the drzee keys for installing packages to a fresh installation again?
[11:42:27] <housemate_> I reinstalled and I have to do it again ...
[11:53:02] <housemate_> I mean how do I import the public.key file into pacman?
[11:53:07] <housemate_> From drzee...
[11:53:09] <housemate_> Lol
[12:00:21] <housemate_> Also where do I place the firmware files the directory where I'd had them earlier is not there, that is /usr/lib/firmware/qcom/x1e80100/hp/ ...

[12:20:23] <housemate_> clover|M I am using your latest iso... Although on the installed operating system it is missing this directory...
[12:50:20] <housemate_> Okay never mind I have got that part worked out.
[12:50:29] <housemate_> But why are the firmware files missing...
[12:50:40] <housemate_> I mean the whole directory..?
[12:55:52] <housemate_> Oh I got it working aha. Nevermind...
[12:55:55] <housemate_> :-D
[13:06:35] -!- housemate_ has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]
[13:17:12] <clover|M> Housemate: use archports-keyring package in your pacstrap
[13:23:52] <clover|M> Downgrade from the AUR is how you can rollback any package
[13:44:20] <clover|M> linux-firmware-qcom is packaged with the ISO. /usr/lib/firmware definitely exists. some firmeware for X1E devices is not upstreamed to linux-firmware and not licensed, so if you don't get it from your windows partition, you have to rely on other people sharing it with you under the table

[15:12:15] <maxjrh> Hi, I'm on a X13s with ironrobins kernel. Is it possible to use video decoding acceleration? dmesg shows "qcom-venus aa00000.video-codec: invalid setting for UC_REGION" and "failed to reset venus core"
[15:28:54] -!- cjc7373 has joined #archlinux-ports
[15:52:50] <clover|M> maxjrh: i suggest you use upstream kernel since its worked for a while now on the X13s. the ironrobin kernel is just there for legacy purpose at this point

[16:47:53] <clover|M> venus is not good on the X13s, i think the current suggestion is to not bother with it\
[17:06:00] <clover|M> "yeah, blacklist it, even when it "works" it doesn't work...
